The Dream; Bringing it All Together

We have the dream about spells and voodoo, and pins in the doll. We have a blackbird hovering outside the door. We have a blackbird flying into and then out of a room of the same house just after midnight. We have a mysterious phone call a short time later, a baby bird found in the driveway and a death in the household.

Oh, and one more thing I forgot. Hector (sister possessed and delivered, brother died), when I told him of the story after I had already written Parts I and II, reminded me that he had had a dream a few weeks before that also contained a blackbird. He had told me about the dream at that time but it was long and drawn out and I completely forgot about the blackbird part. So he reminded me last night.

In his dream he is standing in his house looking out the window when he spies a black bird in the distance. It is quite large and is carrying something in its talons. Fear begins to grip him as he watches this black bird flying closer and closer until he realizes it is headed directly for his house. As it gets closer he sees that it is carrying in its talons a large syringe filled with poison. His fear increases as he looks away from the window for a moment only to find that, when he looks back, the bird has disappeared from view. He feels a very great fear and turns to find the large black bird standing just feet away from him in his bedroom. As his fear continues to grip him the black bird changes from a bird into a demon, a demon that looks like that dwarfish guy sucking his thumb being carried by Satan in the Passion of the Christ movie. The face was of a man, very ugly and devilish but the body was that of a child. He was so scared he immediately woke up, sweating and breathing irregularly.

So here in this post I’m going to tell you what possibly could have happened in the circumstances with these three posts. Some of you will laugh while others will scoff and still others will be too afraid to deal with it. But before I give you the final analysis or at least not an analysis but possibility, read this passage from the Bible:

Eph 6:11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

My take on all of this? The dream of José Carmen concerning the pins being stuck in me was factual. One or more of the local shaman or witchdoctors put a spell on me or someone in my house to cause me grief and try to turn me away from God. The blackbird flying up to and then entering my bedroom was either a shaman in the form of a blackbird or in some way sent by the shaman to bring the spell to my house to further intimidate me or my household. The spell was to bring death to someone in the household. The small black bird that was found was provided by God with the understanding that once it was brought into the house it would take on the spell and would subsequently die in the place of the person in the household for whom it was intended. Hector’s dream of the blackbird changing into the demon only reinforces this interpretation.

Is that what actually happened? I don’t know for sure. But I believe it was, after all, I lived it. And why do you find that you can’t believe it? I’ll tell you why. Because you don’t really believe, or maybe you’re just too afraid to open your mind to understand, that demons do exist, that demonic possession is a reality, that spiritual warfare is necessary because of this, and that our fight is real and takes place with powerful creatures we can’t understand. But bless God it’s not our fight but his! I will be writing more on this paragraph in the near future.
