No hoax. But your comment is what could be expected by an atheist (which is how you describe yourself on your website).

Here’s an email I received from someone recently who believes in demons:

that night. it sounds crazy but i need to know what to do i try and try,but i gewt
so drained from work drinking partying, it sucks not sleeping i am haveing horrible
nightmares i am fearfull to even open my eyes after a fucked up dream i feel myself
trying to shack myself awake. i’ll shut up now.
