“Nothing sets a person so much out of the devil’s reach as humility.” (Edwards)
Here are some interesting thoughts on pride, and the worst pride, spiritual pride. See what you think.
Jonathan Edwards on Spiritual Pride.
The first and worst cause of error that prevails in our day is spiritual pride. This is the main door by which the devil comes into the hearts of those who are zealous for the advancement of Christ. It is the chief inlet of smoke from the bottomless pit to darken the mind and mislead the judgment, and the main handle by which Satan takes hold of Christians to hinder a work of God. Until this disease is cured, medicines are applied Continue reading

In a stunning turn of events (or is it?) the Church has largely turned it’s back on the importance of Satan and the topic of Demon Possession, especially in the recent past. Specifically is the question of whether or not a Christian can be demon possessed. Actually, many churches that otherwise walk the straight and narrow when it comes to following God seem to ignore the warnings given throughout the Bible concerning Satan and his demon’s, demonic practices, the counterfeiting of all things Godly, etc.
You say you can’t remember being warned about these things, about fighting with Satan, about the possibility and downright certainty of being oppressed by, if not possessed by demon’s? It’s no wonder. Again, the church, God’s people have chosen to tread… Continue reading

Mark 5 says that people had tried to bind them with chains, but those demoniacs broke them with their tremendous strength. Such strength was demonstrated to me when the demon-possessed woman I spoke with flipped over a steel desk with only two fingers.”
Do I believe demons exist? That’s a good question. Unfortunately, the answer is a little complicated. I believe angels exist but I’ve never seen one. I believe God exists but I’ve never seen Him. Let’s just say Continue reading

This was written from Guatemala in July of 2005
Well, another strange report from Guatemala! There seem to be so many lately. Anyway, it happened last night while I was working in the house with the lights out, inside and out, with only the light from the computer screen on. As I’m working on the computer with my headphones on I became aware of a cat, or at least what I thought was a cat, letting out the most unholy screech and then rumbling, kind of a growl. This has happened several times but there have been

From Darkness to Light Foundation
From Darkness to Light Foundation (FDTLF) is a not-for-profit foundation established in the Lake Atitlan region of Guatemala to study, discuss and understand the biblical truths concerning Satan and his related entities, their methodology and work in and among the people, both Christians and non-Christians, and the subsequent education of all peoples thereof. It was formed after a true life experience of one of its directors dealing with the possession of his sister by an evil spirit and the subsequent death of his brother. See Hector’s story here.
The lake Atitlan area of Guatemala is currently a hotbed of activity for pagans. The lakefront community of Santiago boasts of
